Best Coffee Shop Experience?

r/Coffee - February 27, 2019

Mine was down in St Louis on a business trip. Stopped in to do a little work and get a pour over. After ordering a Kalita Wave I went outside to grab my forgotten wallet. When I came back in the guy said "We actually are out of Kalita filters so I refunded you the drink and made it for you on a V60" - Above and Beyond right there.

My best is easy. I was fired from a job I really liked due to office politics. I was feeling really like shit. I went to the coffee shop that me and my coworkers would go to everyday, (I made sure it wasn't during their break time). The owner of the coffee shop knew something was upsetting me. He talked to me for a good 2 hours.

One of my best was in LA. I was there for a long weekend with a friend and wanted to hit some local shops. I was staying in Koreatown and Document Coffee Bar was nearby, so I started there. The manager there gave me some other shop recommendations including a shop not too far away called Tactile.

I’m looking for a nice coffee shop to take my wife to that’s not a Starbucks or any other major chain. Looking for something unique to Houston. A plus if they have board games and stuff to do with small children but not necessary.

Arabica Coffee Shop in BGC: Coffee with cockroach [ ipis ]

We often poke fun at other countries for their unhygienic food preparation habits, but if this incident is proven true, it's a punch in the face for the store owner. The shop is situated in BGC, Taguig, a premier business district.
